Four Generations of Love

Life needs love, and for myself family fuels that love.  What an honor and a pleasure to have met and to be surrounded by such good people while visiting Quebec.  It was so great to finally see in the flesh Russell's roots.  One thing I've always loved about Quebec is its rich culture and we were lucky enough to be immersed in it!  Thank you all for opening your hearts and homes to the both of us and we hope to see you all sooner rather than later!  xoxo

Get off the Computer and Go Kayaking

Sometimes we don't appreciate where we live.  I forget sometimes how lucky I am to live in the Comox Valley, until I go out shooting and see it with fresh new eyes.  I have never been one to go to the gym, therefore I try my best to stay active with outdoor activities such as kayaking.  The great thing about kayaking is that you can make it as easy or as difficult as you want it to be.  Sometimes I want to just paddle around and enjoy the view and other times I thrive for the excitement of wind and waves.  If there is something I would suggest more to people it would be to explore and get to know your own backyard; push yourself out of your comfort zone, try something new, and have fun!

Gettin' Dirty

One thing I've grown to love about Russell and try to emulate myself is that he is driven to find adventures and explore as much as possible.  Dirt biking allows him to not only satisfy his love of exploring but also feeds his hunger for adrenaline.  I myself don't dirt bike but understanding the lifestyle and seeing the advantages of getting places otherwise would be nearly impossible captures my interest.  This was a full day shoot of trying the capture west coast dirt biking lifestyle.
