Get off the Computer and Go Kayaking

Sometimes we don't appreciate where we live.  I forget sometimes how lucky I am to live in the Comox Valley, until I go out shooting and see it with fresh new eyes.  I have never been one to go to the gym, therefore I try my best to stay active with outdoor activities such as kayaking.  The great thing about kayaking is that you can make it as easy or as difficult as you want it to be.  Sometimes I want to just paddle around and enjoy the view and other times I thrive for the excitement of wind and waves.  If there is something I would suggest more to people it would be to explore and get to know your own backyard; push yourself out of your comfort zone, try something new, and have fun!
